Theme Installation

In this Quick Start Guide you will find all required information on how to install the theme, troubleshoot most common issues and make
your site look like the theme demo.

Million Shades Installation

There are two ways to install the theme: through WordPress, or via FTP. 

Follow the steps below to install via WordPress dashboard:

  1. Navigate to Appearance > Themes.
  2. Click Install Themes and hit the upload button.
  3. Navigate to find the “million-shades.zip” file on your computer and click “Install Now”
  4. Wait while the theme is uploaded and installed.
  5. Activate the newly installed theme. Go to Appearance > Themes and activate it.

Another way:

  1. Navigate to Appearance > Themes.
  2. Click on Add New theme
  3. From search box – search million shades
  4. Click on installation button
  5. Click on activate button

Follow the steps below to install via FTP:

  1. Log into your hosting space via an FTP software
  2. Unzip the million-shades.zipfile and ONLY use the extracted million-shades theme folder
  3. Navigate to find the “million-shades.zip”file on your computer and click “Install Now”
  4. Activate the newly installed theme. Go to Appearance -> Themes and activate it.

Recommended plugins are Elementor, Definitive Addons for Elementor. Alternative recommended plugins: Siteorigin page builder, Million Shades Toolkits.

Recommended plugins for E-commerce users are woo-commerce, YITH Woocommerce Wishlist, Elementor, Definitive Addons for Elementor

Definitve Addons Installation

  1. Download the plugin “Definitive Addons for Elementor” from https://wordpress.org/plugins/definitive-addons-for-elementor/
  2. Hover over plugins->Add New from dashboard
  3. Click on “upload plugin” button on top
  4. Click on “choose file” button and select/upload “definitive-addons-for-elementor.zip” from you computer.
  5. Click on “Install Now” button
  6. Install and activate it.

Another way:

Million Shades toolkit Installation

  1. Download the plugin “Million Shades Toolkit” from https://wordpress.org/plugins/million-shades-toolkit/
  2. Hover over plugins->Add New from dashboard
  3. Click on “upload plugin” button on top
  4. Click on “choose file” button and select/upload “million-shades-toolkit .zip” from you computer.
  5. Click on “Install Now” button
  6. Install and activate it.

Another way:

  3. Click on installation button
  4. Click on activate button

One Click Demo Import(Pro):

To install the demo content is very easy just one click.

  1. Log into your site as an administrator
  2. Make sure you activated your theme before proceeding.
  3. Go to Started with million-shades and click on it
  4. click on importer screen on welcome tab. You will see all demos with image.
  5. Choose your desired demo and click on import button. Wait for a while. All done. It is really one click
